Question : Hello,
I am a 27 year old female non smoker or drinker. I have had this reddened are on the soot where my left tonsil used to be (removed as a child) it's been there a while maybe a year. I have chronic sinus problems and wltaking allergy injections i also had the balloon sinus lastly to open my sinuses after which I noticed the right side where my tonsil are is became red as well but not a circular red spot like the other. They are painless and don't seem to fluctuate in size or anything. I am freaked out about them but my ENT said it was nothing to worry about that it looked like inflamed tissue bed in tonsils from chronic allergies. My dentist said nothing until I asked her about it and was also saying it doesn't look concerning but just have it checked again by my ENT if I was worried. I do have history of Hpv so I am freaking out thinking i have cancer!

Brief Answer:
I do not think that you have cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details provided. Based on the description it seems nothing than a chronic allergic reaction. Let me mention that cancer is characterized by uncontrolled division of cells. Hence if you were to have cancer, you would have observed some growth which would have been rapidly increasing in size. Since that is not the case, I do not think you need to worry about cancer. So I would insist you to relax.
Wish you good health.
Regards
