Question: I am a 44 year old Caucasian male. About a month a go my wife and I got intimate. After making love I noticed that the right side of my penis, the shaft and head, looked like they were burnt. I felt friction but thought it was nothing. Right now I have the redness and there are times where it itches. Is there any cream or lotion that I can use? Do I need to see a doctor?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have sustained bruising injury to shaft of your penis and glans due to dry rough vigorous sex.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

Do not worry this will heal up within a week.

Good morning, Doctor XXXXXXX The 2 drugs you mentioned, Cefexine & Diclofenac, for how long would I have to take and what dosage? I don't have a regular doctor at this time. Would I be able to get online?
