Question : I took 150 mg of wellbutrin and 75 mg of effexor for about two weeks. i have psoriasis so I went to my usual tanning booth. now my whole body is red and sore and peeling and my ankles are swolen. does wellbutrin make you sensitive to the sun? At firstIthought that this might be an allergic reaction to wellbutrin, but now my skin is peeling and it looks more like a burn. Taking benadryl and using 1% hydrocortisone cream

                                    Brief Answer:
Send an image for review!
Detailed Answer:
HI,
Kindly send an image of your skin for review showing the rash and desquamation. While it could be a related allergy from wellbutrin, it would be nicer to review the rash so as to provide a personalized and helpful response. However, wellbutrin is not documented to cause increased skin burns from sun exposure.

I will suggest you pause wellbutrin!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This rash seems extensive and may be very much related to an allergic reaction. I will suggest that you stop wellbutrin. Continue with Vaseline cream only. Hydrocortisone can be put on standby at this time. Kindly report the evolution to me.
Thanks
