Question : Few months ago I was diagnosed by scabies. Then doctor told me to apply permethirin twice at fortnight intervals. Now, I don't have scabies and free from it. However, while applying permethirin I used on the head of my penis.I can see reddening, slight pain on it. I am wondering to know is this normal when permethirin applied on the penis

Brief Answer:
It will be okay as you stop treatment!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about the scabies you had. The reddening/inflammation is caused by the permethrin as this will slowly resolve spontaneously as there is no more further application of this permethrin. It is all about time and patience at this point and all will slowly return to normal.

I hope this helps and i wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
