Question : I have had for a couple of days, a bit of soreness around my anus. Spent a lot of time walking this weekend,so I am hopeful it is a friction rash. Took a picture and I see some redness in there. I am concerned about herpes, are you able to diagnosis from this pictures?

Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is appearing like a fraction rash.
I treat such cases with with a combination of moisturising cream and an anti-fungal cream as there is always a risk of secondary fungal infection.
You can use any moisturising cream of your choice in morning and antifungal cream like clotrimazole in night.
also take an antihistamine tablet if there is itch.
Try to avoid walking and take a rest.
