Brief Answer:
It has not healed completely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
As per your description, it looks that it has not healed completely. This is not normal. I prescribe antibiotic like Clindamycin capsule along with anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints. Redness is due to mild infection and associated inflammation. You should see your doctor for a prescription.

You should keep the affected limb in a elevated position. Pressure will be there on the stitched portion while walking. So,we advice bed rest and limb elevation to our patients.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
