Brief Answer:
Acute congestive Glaucoma most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,,
I have carefully read your query and understand your concern.

Its high time that you to stop the Diamox(precipitating agent) and reduce Lumigan eye drop concentration to 0.01%(revised standard drug dose).

This sudden onset of redness in the eye could point to Acute Congestive Glaucoma in my opinion-which lead to rapid loss of vision if left untreated.

This condition has to be mandatorily ruled out in all patients who present with sudden red eye.

This can present with sudden diminution of vision with redness of eye.

Few patients with certain anatomical factors in the eye like narrow angle and shallow anterior chamber are prone to develop this complication if they are exposed to drugs like Diamox which shares structural resemblance to Sulphonamide group of drugs which are known to cause this kind of complication in Glaucomatous patients.

Its important for the diagnosis to be confirmed soon, appropriate drugs like beta blockers and hyperosmotic agents are started. So consult your doctor at the earliest.

Post your further queries if any,
Thank you
