Question : When I drink alcohol my face turns red and I feel warm, why?
Brief Answer:
it's vasodilatation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
alcohol causes vasodilatation which means that the small blood vessels dilate and contain more blood. Therefore the overlying tissues become "red". The same applies for the warm feeling. More blood in the small blood vessels makes these tissues warmer.
Kind Regards!
