Question : I am 47 going through menopause and since my last period started on the second of Julyit hasn't stopped Is this normal. The bleeding isn't enough to require protection but is there every time I go to the toilet.
Brief Answer:
It is not normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am,
Thanks for asking your question at hcm.
I can understand your concerns.
There are hormonal changes occur during menopause and estrogen level decreases and period can be irregular but to be safer side you should consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined to rule out the other causes of prolonged bleeding like polyp, atrophic vaginitis and endometrial carcinoma( very rare).
Hope found useful, feel free to discuss more information.
Good luck.
