Question: My daughter is pregnant -- with possibility of twins although one is small. She had a gallbladder attach on Thursday -- did not eat- very little water - b/p dropped to 80-42. Her HCG dropped from 14.032 to 11900. Ultrasound showed two heart beats --- but does the drop mean miscarriage.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
If the heart beat of both the fetuses is present in ultrasound, then you need not worry.
Twin pregnancy is generally not monitored by beta hCG levels as they show erratic levels and increase in twins.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
