Question : Dear Doctor
You asking about repiting of the symtoms 4 weeks ago as applied to spining of the room.. What is the relevance of this. I am 68, I think I am healthy and 4 weeks ago spinning of the room woke me up. I was sweating, sitting position made me better and I expected to die. This is how I felt. Within an hour I exploded with vomioting twice and gradually I became better.
Today same episod repeated except without vomioting. I still do not feel to great, but I am Ok. Tomorrow I will try to get drs apptm. Would you kindly give me your opinion? I do understand that information I gave you is not sufficient. Today I will do blood test. Thank You for your anticipated help. I am very concern.

Well looking into your query I would like to tell you that I think its vertigo that has given you a spinning sensation . Vomiting is a common acccompanying factor for the same .
There can be many reasons for it . But in you case BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo ) or cervical spondylosis will be the main differential diagnosis. Your doctor may get a cervical spine x ray for the same to look for osteophytes . Ear diseases can also give similar symptoms .
You need not worry , Just keep your self hydrated , avoid caffeine and sudden jerky movements of your neck . You can take Prochlorperazine 5 mg tablet or beta histine 8 mg for symptomatic relief if there is no contraindication after discussing with your doctor .
