                                            Question : In 2006, had a Caesarean section for 2nd baby in Govt. hospital from that period onwards, will be infected in my vaginal portion after my course regularly and has consulted doctor gynecologist, sujested to take medicins both myself and my hubby we took both AF- kit twice, few days it was fine again started infection - last time prescribed me to take ecoflora medicine for 2 months but I took for 1 month and was fine till yesterday. Now i feel that i got again infected, please suggest shall i continue with ecoflora or have to get checked up again.

There are various types of vaginal infection you can get . Of them bacterial vaginitis and yeast infection are commonest . However neither requires long term treatment . If you are getting infections repeatedly then you must rule out the possibility of diabetes . Or  incorrect diagnosis . Ecoflora is good for vaginitis but it should be maintained for 3 months .  Do a course of antibiotics also . Clindamycin and metronidazole for 7 days . Only wash with plain water . Use cotton underwear . No soap or perfume  or cream to be applied there are.                                     Thank u so much, healthwise I am perfect then is required to get check up for diabetes as my hubby is an diabetes from past 1yr is that may be a reason and having itching problem too on his skin from abdomen to till thyes is may a one of reason for my infection or its individual, becoz even last time doctors said to get tested for thyroid and sugar test for me becoz of regular infection.And i prefer only cotton wears,and i make sure to wash my inner wear with hot water separately.
If i start with antibiotic as you said  of Clindamycin and metronidazole for 7days - Need to take 3 times(1-1-1) or 2 times(1-0-1) each tab let me know.
so, that will start antibiotic from today let me know on this pls....

Take tab clindamycin twice day and metronidazole thrice a day for a7 days . Test your blood sugar . Also make sure your husband is not passing the infection to you . Explain to him about hygiene after urinating and washing with only water .
