Brief Answer:
RLS

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your question on HealthcareMagic.

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your query is concerned, you can do few things at home-:

1) Do soaking in a warm bath and massaging your legs can relax your muscles.

2) Use heat or cold, or alternating use of the two, may lessen your limb sensations.

3)Stress can aggravate restless leg syndrome so do relaxation exercise before going to bed

4) Maintain a time table for sleep at home. Go to bed at a particular time and rise from bed at a particular time. This will remove your fatigue.

5) Do good amount of exercises in day time but not much

6) Sometimes cutting back on caffeine may help restless legs. Try to avoid caffeine containing products including chocolate and caffeinated beverages, such as coffee, tea and soft drinks, for a few weeks to see if it helps

7) Regularly take a multivitamin and iron capsules at bed time

As per your question the medication [Requip]dose should be like this-;

Immediate-release tablets:

Initial: 0.25 mg orally once a day on Day 1 and Day 2

Dose titration: May titrates as follows based on individual efficacy and tolerability:

Days 3 to 7: give 0.5 mg orally once a day

-Week 2: give 1 mg orally once a day

-Week 3: give 1.5 mg orally once a day

-Week 4: give 2 mg orally once a day

-Week 5: give 2.5 mg orally once a day

-Week 6: give 3 mg orally once a day

-Week 7: give 4 mg orally once a day

Maximum Dose:[4 mg orally once a day]

Other medications will be added if required by clinical examinations by your treating doctor only.

Hope this helps
