Brief Answer:
restless legs

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You recently had a stroke and the affected limbs are causing restlessness. This is a very common occurrence after a stroke. Norco helps because it reduces the overall pain but it also carries the risk of over medication and addiction. There are other medications that can help including a beta blocker like atenolol, or a Parkinson's drug like sinemet or a seizure medication like Depakote or lamictal. All theses medications can help control the tremor and shakes after a stroke. Please contact your medical provider to see which other option you are best suited for.

In summary for the treatment of restless legs you may try
1. opiates like Norco
2. Sinemet used also in Parkinson's
3. Lamictal or Depakote used in seizures
4. Beta-blockers like atenolol
