What Causes Reterograde Ejaculation?
Question: Had a neck of bladder operation.Was told by doctor that i would fire a few blank shots when i ejaculated.Found out nine months later the truth.Is there anything that can be done so i preform normal again?

You are having a problem called as reterograde ejaculation where semen goes inside the bladder instead of coming out at the time of ejaculation resulting in blank fire shots.It can be confirmed by getting the urine tested for presence of sperms after the orgasm.
Cause of reterograde ejaculation is damage of muscles and nerves during the surgery for prostate or bladder neck.
In case the injury is mild,then condition becomes all right after sometime but if the damage to muscles and nerves is more,then it may remain as such.
There is a medical management to this problem which helps in increasing the tone of bladder neck resulting in prevention of the flow of semen in to bladder.Treatment is done by medicines like chlorpheniramine ,imipramine,ephiderine etc.
You can discuss about it with your treating doctor.

Thankyou for your answer. Have another problem that developed a few months after the operation.Was getting out of bed in mornings and a shooting pain in my lower back.lots of cramp in legs and arms and shooting pain like electric shocks running up my arms when i would reach for an object.Now all this has gone i have had numbness from my shoulders to my finger tips in both arms and they go freezing cold.Have had this now for two to three months.Thankyou. Your symptoms of numbness in both arms can be caused by various causes and it requires proper investigations to arrive at the proper diagnosis.
Causes can be due to some localised problem like herniated disc at cervical spine level or may be due to cervical spondylitis or some spinal injury.
Generalised problems like diabetes,VIT B 12 deficiency,calcium deficiency,alcoholism can also cause numbness.
Medical conditions like RAYNAUD'S phenomenon,hypothyroidism,multiple sclerosis,carpal tunnel syndrome etc can also cause these problems.
I would advise you to consult a neurologist and get investigated thoroughly for the diagnosis and treatment.
