Question : have a premenstrual 11 year old with increase in headache don't know maternal health history, am custodial grand-parent. have had eye exam done, needs reading glasses but not enough to warrant the increase in headache r/t eye strain. any ideas?

Hi,

Sinus problems can be a possible cause to her headaches especially when signs of blocked/runny nose are present.

Other possible causes include:
- hormonal changes
- emotional
- changes in her blood sugar/pressure levels

I advise to keep monitoring her blood pressure/sugar levels for further evaluations together with ECG and echo-cardiogram.
