Brief Answer:
Wait to see if the pain persist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again XXXX

I read carefully your query.
Continue Omeprazole these 2 days.
A pain in the right upper abdomen that is relieved after passing soft stool are indicative for irritable bowel syndrome. As I have told you there is no specific treatment for this condition ,you just need to control your anxiety /stress and follow the diet changes.Symptomatic treatment is given if it is necessary for example anti-diarrhea drugs if you have diarrhea and antispasmodics like Buscopan if you have abdominal cramps.

Another possibility that can explain the pain in the right upper abdomen before meals and 2 hours after meals is duodenal ulcer. You may need to run an upper endoscopy but this after have excluded liver conditions.

We have already discussed that the possibility to have contracted HIV infection during the protected sexual intercourse is very low to zero.
You don't have any reason to think about HIV.
HIV infection doesn't cause any symptoms like yours.

In this point if these symptoms persist I would suggest to consult a physician ,get examined and get some tests done.
This not because I suspect that something serious is going on but because this might be the only way for you to put the mind in rest and stop worrying about your health.
You can do some blood tests like liver function tests (to exclude hepatitis ),abdominal ultrasound to exclude other liver conditions that can cause this pain in your right upper abdomen like gallstone etc.
If these tests are normal ,then you may need to run an upper endoscopy.

I sincerely hope this helps.
Take care,
Dr.Rovena

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX

I am sorry for the delay in answering you.

Consider the symptoms you are having (stomach gas and pain in the middle and right abdomen) and the fact that you are having symptoms even after taking Omeprazole ,you might need to consult an Gastroenterologist specialist and do an upper endoscopy .
You might have a gastric or duodenal ulcer and you need a complete course of a combination of drugs like antibiotics and PPI -drugs (as Omperazole ) for a period of 8-12 weeks.

Wait some more days and if the symptoms persist consult a gastroenterologist specialist.

Hope I have answered your query.
Take care,
Dr.Rovena

Brief Answer:
You can wait some days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

You can wait some days to see if the pain will persist .If yes you should consult a physician right away.
These days try to follow strictly the diet changes and avoid any food that can cause this pain (acidic foods) and see what happen.

Take care.

Brief Answer:
Complete this course and see what happens.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

The doctor has prescribed you a treatment for acid reflux/peptic ulcer that is Pantoprazole (a PPI -drug) and Metronidazole .

Mebeverine HCL is an antispasmodic which helps to relieve the pain and discomfort associated with gastrointestinal spasms. It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome ( a symptomatic treatment).
You should complete this course and see what happen.
Stress and anxiety can trigger these symptoms and make them worse. It might be difficult but you should stop over thinking about your health .You don't have any reason to think that something serious is going on.

Focus more on your work and do things that you like to do.
Try to eat healthy and drink plenty of fluids.

I wish you all the best.
Take care.
