I have a stabbing pain next to my belly button on the right side what could it be

Hi and welcome to HCM,

It may be appendicitis, diverticulitis or ovarian cyst and these are the most common issues causing such pain.

At this point, you should rest, have easier diet and take more fluids. If any fever, progressive pain or vomiting occur, you should go to ER and get CT scan of the abdomen done.

I've had all day got no fever but it painful

Then you can wait and see if new symptoms will occur and in that case,you should see doctor. otherwise,have easier diet and take non steroid painkillers. if nausea,vomiting,fever or increased pain occur,you should do some tests urgently.
