Brief Answer:
I can assure you that your symptoms are not cardiac related.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would confirm that your symptoms are not related to any cardiac disorders.

You should know that pain in this region, exacerbated by certain position of the body is related to the musculo-skeletal system:

- possible inflammation and muscular pain
- possible wrong position during sleeping
- possible cervical column disorder (chronic degeneration), causing an irritation of the muscles of this region leading to muscular pain.

Your blood pressure is a little low, but it is not related to this clinical situation.

I would recommend taking ibuprofen for the pain three times daily, coupled with acetaminophen 3 times daily (you can try just ibuprofen first, and if the pain persists, add another tab of acetaminophen).

If the problem persists, I would recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a cervical column X ray study
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation).

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
