Question : Hey doctor I have been having some mild pains near my right testicle and on the right side of my groin which I am unsure if they are related. Upon inspecting them I noticed that they are kind of red theres these red looking veins that stick out I had to shave it back a bit to see but I have attached images to demonstrate it along with this little red spot. Is this something that should be checked out by a doctor?

Brief Answer:
Should be checked by a Doctor and get investigated too.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history, seen the photos and understood your concerns.
Pain on the right side of testicle/scrotum along with the same in groin can be due to the following reasons:
Epididymo-orchitis.
Hernia.
Such small red dots and/or lines indicating the blood vessels might not be the cause of the pains that you have mentioned.

Certainly yes; you should get this checked and investigated by your Doctor.
Actual palpation fives more idea about the probable cause.
Hernia can be confirmed or ruled out to be the cause.
Tests of urine: Routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity gives additional information.
High resolution ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum and inguinal area helps further.

This way an actual diagnosis can be made which helps in perfect treatment.
I hope this answers your query.
