What Causes Right Sided Pain On The Head?

Question : I have had pain on rt side of head, have had spiked bp. 220/112 and 199/100. I get nauseous, dizzy, etc. /emergency run into hosp got me treated for a migraine and meds to bring down bp. I have an apt mon with md finally. my bro died of multiple myeloma a few yrs ago. I'm concerned re: this and my kidneys. not feeling myself by any means. What would light a fire under my MD?

The headache, dizziness and nausea are related to hypertension and treating for BP will help to stabilise BP. Lowering BP will help to relieve your symptoms.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations:
- Blood work including BUN and creatinine levels
- Cardiac echo
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Ecg
