Question : I dont possess a uturus nor left ovary and I am now 72. My husband and I have a very gentle love making session during the week and whenever the humour take us!! However after I orgasm I get a very sore pain up my right side and it keeps throbbing and sore for quite a while,sometimes resulting in soreness passing water etc, any advice Dr pleasem I would be delighted to hear what you have to say as it is much easier to write it down rather than have to go to the surgery and face the local gp. +Ovarian pain: This could be due to variois reasons like ovarian cysts, etc. But as you do posses a right ovary, it is important to have your right ovary examined

+Infections: Some times infections can result from surgeries that were perfomed long before

+Internal stitches posing to be a problem

+Physical activity (in your case sexual intercourse) interfering or irritating your bowels

Either way it would be best to visit a doctor. I understand your entire purpose for writing to us was to avoid a physical consultation ma'am, but a visit to your doctor would be in your best interest as you may require an ultrasound examination as well as a physical examination with a detailed history.
