                                            Question : My daughter has swollen glands visible on the right side of her neck and along her hair line at the back of her neck she is also complaining the right side of her face feels sore when she touches it or makes facial expressions

There are chances of it being one of the following,
1. Herpes.
2.Peripheral neuritis due to some other cause.
3.Infection in scalp , face and / or neck.
4.Bell's Palsy but chances are remote with nodes swelling.
She needs to go for a check up of nodes so that a proper diagnosis can be made , and an early treatment can be started to minimize the suffering.
