Question : I have tenderness on the right side of my throat, no bruising , no cold or flu it hurts when I turn my head to the right but not the left. I feel it less when not moving my head but its still there. If there is a swelling or inflammation it is very slight.

Brief Answer:
Use a mild pain killer, and keep an eye on it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your questions.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

What you are describing, doesn't seem something to worry about.
It may be a muscular sore or a reactive lymph node.
Maybe symptoms of a viral infection will start in the days to come.

I would recommend to keep and eye of it, and make sure that you won't have other lymph nodes enlarged in your body (armpit, inguinal area, ext).
You can use Ibuprofen or Paracetamol for the pain, as needed, if it bothers you.

If you start with other symptoms, let me know. Otherwise, it should get smaller in size, and have no tenderness in few days, without need of doing anything more then what I recommended above.

If you need more clarifications, let me know.

Regards,
