What Causes Ring Shaped Lesion On Back?

Question: I have had this on my back for the past 4 weeks now.
I think it's a ringworm. I have need applying lotriman for ringworm. It's hasn't gotten bigger, but it also still looks they same. Any thoughts?

I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have also reviewed the image.

I can see a ring shaped lesion. It does look like tinea.

I would suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g terbinafine 250 mg tablet, once daily for 2weeks in addition to topical antifungal cream. You may also take a tablet of cetrizine 10mg once daily for symptomatic itch relief.

Do you think ketoconazal will work? Or is that too risky?? I would need a prescription for the other medication.
