Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query
I have gone through the medical history and learnt that you have undergone brain tumor removal. If the tumor has been removed on the same side where you currently hearing noise, then, the surgery in the brain could have affected the sensitive nerves carrying the information to the brain.
I would suggest you to consult your doctor for a complete evaluation. You may require hearing test to identify the cause of the tinnitus.
Meanwhile you use the following to mask the tinnitus:
1. Tinnitus masker - after getting the hearing test from your audiologist.
2. Use either old clock which makes the ticking noise or play light music which can mask the tinnitus while you sleep.
Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
