Brief Answer:
perforation in ear drum, requires audiometry, x-ray paranasal sinuse

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.

Is there any associated hearing loss or dizziness ?
Is your ear discharge associated with nasal blockage or head-ache ?

Kindly get back to me with details.

As per your clinical details, ear discharge with ringing sound could be due to-

Otitis media (ear drum perforation with infection) secondary to sinusitis, allergy or water per ear.

I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and get detailed ENT examination, otoscopy, audiometry (size of perforation, degree of deafness), X-ray para nasal sinuses (sinusitis), Blood tests(allergic rhinitis). Treatment can be started according to the investigations.

In the interim you need to plug the ear canal with cotton during bath, to prevent repeated infections.

Hope, I have answered your query. Take care.
