
What Causes Ringing Sensation In The Left Ear?

Question : I have had ringing in my left ear for 5 plus years now. lately I have been hearing what sounds like a small gas engine running in the back ground and when I cover my right ear I don't here that the sound. What do you think is going on? Thanks!
