Brief Answer: Scalp psoriasis , not a very worrisome condition Detailed Answer: Hi I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same . I have seen the attached pictures . You have developed scalp psoriasis . First of all, I would like to tell you that it is not a very worrisome skin condition since it is seemingly localised in your case. You need to start treatment to control the problem soon. You should apply a topical steroid lotion like zydip lotion at night over the affected areas daily. In addition, use a tar based shampoo like protar shampoo twice a week over the scalp. After application , leave it over the scalp for the five minutes before washing it off. Also you can take oral vitamin a capsules once a day for two weeks. This will accelerate the healing process. Hope it helps Please ask if you need any further clarifications Dr Geetika Paul
