Question : Not dry mouth; but rather salty saliva.
Brief Answer:
mild dehydration?
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Sometimes even if you do not have a dry mouth the saliva can taste a bit salty if you are slightly dehydrated. Also some vitamins that contain minerals can also hae that effect. Try cutting out the copper and zinc for a few days and see if the condition resolves. Usually if you get a diet with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables you get adequate minerals in the diet and do not need to supplement them with vitamins.
