I am so sorry to hear about these seizures that you have been experiencing. There is no link between hysterectomy and seizures. Though topomax is also used as an anti seizure medication, it will not work for all seizure types. I will suggest that you get evaluated by a neurologist through a detailed examination and an EEG(used to diagnose seizures). This would confirm that for sure you have seizures, what the type is and what the best treatment option are.
HRT after hysterectomy is only indicated if the ovaries were completely removed. Ask your doctor about this. Also, if there are any symptoms related to this, then he would need to be treated accordingly.
