Brief Answer:
anxiety, check thyroid

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Anxiety causes a release of stress hormones and it can give you the sensation of heat inside your body even with a normal temperature.
It is very important that your doctor check you for high thyroid hormone since this can also cause that sensation, raise blood pressure and worsen anxiety.
If your anxiety is not well controlled consider seeing a psychiatrist. They are the experts in medications to manage anxiety and panic.
It is important to control your blood pressure too so work with your primary care doctor to get that under control.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
Dr. Robinson
