Question : Started taking Viberzi on Thursday. Severe abdominal pain followed by nausea, vomiting and feeling "hinky" At 1:30 this morning a very intense itching over my entire body began ! I can tolerate the itching, but it concerns me that it may "mean something" serious. Have considered going to an ER. I am an 83 year old female. ThanksI

My thoughts after reading your history:
This looks to be an adverse reaction to Viberzi.
I would request you to report to ER ASAP to get a clinical evaluation, examination, investigations and to get an appropriate treatment.
It is better to not to try something at home like antihistamine or so as late detection of the problems can cause more serious reactions with its complications and sequel.
