Question : I have pain across my buttocks when walking, sitting, and especially when bending. I also have pain in my hip, as well as bloating.

This can be because of various reasons. One of them is degenerative disease of lower spine or associated muscular problems. Other reasons can be some problem inside the pelvis or lower abdomen like chronic infection or rarely, tumor.

I would recommend a examination by doctor and then few investigations as appropriate, like xrays, ultrasound or MRI scans. Once the exact cause is determined, proper treatment can be initiated.
