Question : I am a 53 year old female and 5 weeks ago I had a complete hysterectomy vaginally. I have since then had severe pain on the left side that constant...worse when I cough or move wrong. any thoughts
Brief Answer:
post hysterectomy pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
For abdominal hysterectomy its normal to have pain up to 2 months. If your pain is not being relieved with pain meds you may want to attend a gynecologist who may examine you and do an U/s to see if there is any problem that has developed. But hopefully it will resolve on its own.
Thankyou
