What Causes Severe Abdominal Pain And Back Ache?

Question: I am having an aching stomach on and off for about 3 days making my lower back hurt. I have tried pepto and antacids for indigestion.

Hi and welcome.
Well,most commonly these difficulties are related to gastritis or gerd so it should improve on antiacids,ranitidin or pantoprasole pills. Also,smokig,alcohol, coffee,fried food must be avoided completely. You should have smaller meals but more often. however if there is associated nausea, vomit,fever or increasing back pain you should see doctor since it may indicate pancreatitis.
