Question : I've been on nexplanon for 6 months. About a month now, I've been suffering with severe anxiety and depression and thoughts about death. I have no reason to feel this way. My life is almost perfect.im convinced it's the implant. Any thoughts?

Depression is a common side effect of nexplanon. Many females just stop it because of this side effect.

I request you to consult your gynecologist immediately. There is need to remove the implant.

If needed your doctor can refer you to psychiatrist for treatment of depression after removal of this hormonal implant.
