What Causes Severe Back Pain And Abdominal Bloating?

default
Posted on Mon, 13 Nov 2017
Question: I was an army medic for 6 years. I started having bad back pain for a while now.... and I went from running half marathons to I cant run anymore without substantial pain.... they diagnosed with a piriformis injury in 2014.... but they didnt do an mri etc until recently... and I dont think they did an in depth one... just one looking at the si joints and back as they just ruled our ankylosing spondylitis....

All of my joint are popping now ....and they get locked up....this is why they thought that it was an autoimmune thing.... should I be concerned about basically all of the calcifications they have found???? before I got out of the army the doc mentioned i could get disability for the chondrocalcinosis??? but he made it seem like it wasnt a big deal? is that what is causing everything? and should I investigate further into the lesion on my hip etc? they stated they didnt think it looked aggresive...I dont really understand the lingo???

MRI of spine and SI joints-there is a small nonspecific 13mm focus of mixed STIR signal intensity in the left iliac ala. This includes areas of decreased STIR signal intensity, likely representating calcifications. No edema is seen surrounding this finding. This is consistent with a nonaggresive process.----diagnosed a few days ago

Chondrocalcinosis of the right rib cartilage-diagnosed in 2012....

The AP pelvis view shoes slightly less coverage of the femoral head on the right side compared with the left,a developmental variant. There is no joint space narrowing or other degnerative change and no focal skeletal lesion. Some minor spurring incidentally in the pubic symphasis.----diagnosed recently.....

I feel as though they diagnosed me without really listneing to me....or doing a bone scan... as alot of military females are prone to pelvic fractures etc.. or torn labrums... (I had several friends that had this...)....

But there has been other stuff that has happened recently since this started.... balance issues... and poor eye tracking... my pressures went up in my eyes for a while... so the neuro doc said I have a vestibular thing....

I went to physio for all of this... and I did have popping from the hip upon certain motions on the inside of my thigh area i think and she said that was normal...but heres why I'm getting frustrated... everywhere is popping now...

It started in my right knee.... now its spread to both...and my shoulders.... and my hip... and my ankles crack...

also in my history I had to get cortisone injections into my left wrist... because I had gliding issues when I was a teenager... and I get trigger fingers in that hand now... and this same arm I had to have a strange lipoma removed because it was causign ym arm to go numb right on the anterior side of where the anecubatal fossa is...it was pressing on nerves....

now this same arm.. I just developed a growth which I am assuming is a ganglion cyst.... but its giving me the same symptoms i had.... hurting all the way up to my elbow at times...

before the lipoma.. they said they may have had to take me to an or if it had arms to it?? but they just took it out...

I just dont feel like myself.... and i dont think its normal for my darn bones to be hurting like this ....ive had them check me for arthiris etc... and seen the rhematologist...

I also tested positive for a homogenous titer test? 120 or something???? they checked me for lupus....

And also over the past few years I've also gotten funny bloating and stomach pain....so I saw a gi doc who said my colonoscopy was normal...and they tested me for celiac stuff....

so basically in short they thought this was autoimmune because my sensitivity to heat and cold....and the vetibular imbalnce thing..and changing pressure thing... my joints...

and when my eye was beign funny I also was getting musculuar fasiculations on one side of my face lasting a month at times... it has since calmed down...

so now my symptoms just kind of vary... I am very in tune with my body and know over the past few years I dont feel like myself.... I feel off kilter with ym head thing like someone is pushing me over...and my joint thing is weird....

they thought it was the spondy thing because I took a year off from activity to see if it wouold improve but.... I still cant run at all....I went from being able to run a 7 minute mile to having pain with wlaking at times... and it feels like my joints are popping and deterioating more???
