Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

The symptoms that you have described or suspicious for a possible urinary tract infection. Urinary frequency and urgency and discomfort with urination as well as blood noted in the urine are all signs of a possible infection.

I would suggest that you contact your primary care doctor or go to a local urgent care center for evaluation at which time a urinalysis can be done to confirm if possible infection. If infection is confirmed antibiotics will typically clear the symptoms within the first 24 to 48 hours.

If you experience symptoms of high fever or shaking chills then I would suggest you go to your local emergency department. Otherwise I would contact your primary care physician of possible or go to your local urgent care center.

Thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
