Brief Answer:
there is no cause for concern

Hi

As fingers have rich blood supply , the wounds are known for severe bleeding. Repeated cleaning is not advisable, cleaning will remove the blood clot which has sealed the wound and cause rebleed .
The pain in arm is likely to be due to fatigue and stress associated with bleeding. There is no cause for concern. Applying Neosporin powder over the wound and keeping the wound open is all that is required.
