Question: What would cause achiness in my entire body mostly at night. It doesn't happen every night. Mostly when I have been inactive. There is no pain just the feeling like I'm beginning to get the flu but I never get sick

Brief Answer:
myalgias

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

YOu have been bothered recently with muscle aching just before going to bed at night. This called myalgias. There are numerous reasons for myalgias my foremost thought is possible rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune disorder. Hypothyroidism can also cause the myalgias. I would recommend that you see your medical provider so they can perform a full physical and obtain labs.

For other diagnosis that could cause your pain please refer to the answer by Dr. XXXXXXX He gave a very good synopsis of muscle pain.

In the meantime maintaining good nutrition, good hydration, using aleve and your warm rice pillow will help

I hope this answers your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
