Question : My anus burns really badly when i have a BM. I try to avoid pooping just because it hurts so bad. Please help!

                                    Hi,
Does it burn like a wound or is it just pain? Do you have any blood on the toilet tissue after cleansing the anus? For hoe long has this being going on? I will recommend you send more information to help my diagnose the exact problem and provide more information.
I hope this helps. I wish you well.

It definitely burns when i have a BM. There is no blood so far. It has been going on for about a week now. I thought it may be hemmoroids and i bought some wipes that have ointment and witchhazel in them. But im still not sure.

                                    Brief Answer:
Are you stools hard or soft? Has there been any relieve using the wipes?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this follow up details.
I have reviewed your information fully. Hemorrhoids would not only cause discomfort during defecation. Hemorrhoids cause constant discomfort that may be worsened by stools. The fact that this pain only comes with stools suggest that it is caused by stool moving on an injured surface. This may be the case with persons who have a small anal fissure(wound).
To address this, we would need to make sure that your stools are soft enough so as to pass through without difficulties. I recommend drinking much water, exercising often, increase fruits, vegetables and fiber intake. This would help. I will also recommend you add Tylenol to these measures.
These should help within 48-72hours. If this fails to happen, then probably seeking examination of the anus would provide more information to pinpoint the exact cause and address accordingly.
I wish you well.
