Brief Answer:
Meralgia paraesthetica

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understood your problem.

From the history you have provided, it appears that you could be having a condition called Meralgia paraesthetica. This occurs when one of the nerves that are passing from the front of the abdomen cross onto your thigh and get compressed on it's way. The cause of compression can be tight clothing, recent childbirth in excessively flexed position of the thighs over the abdomen, recent hip surgery, Obesity, Diabetes.

I would advise you to avoid wearing any tight clothing over the waist, no tight belts, avoid over flexing the thigh to the abdomen during sleeping. Eat healthy and exercise regularly to stay fit and avoid obesity.

You can take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg + Methylcobalamine combination twice a day, which will help reduce the pain and the burning sensation. Wearing loose clothes will also provide great relief. You can also apply cool soaks in the area of burning pain.

I would recommend you see an Orthopaedic surgeon and get a thorough examination to find the cause of the nerve compression and help find a cure. There are various methods of treatment like Steroid injection around the area of the nerve where it enters the thigh and rarely surgery may be required for decompressing the nerve.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available for follow up queries.

Thanking you.
