Question : When I laugh a lot I then begin to cough a lot.

This is because saliva gets into the windpipe!

Hi,

When you laugh al lot, you cause saliva droplets to get into the windpipe. This causes irritation and would eventually initiate a cough reflex. I will suggest that you try to limit how much you have at a go. Also, break often to swallow any saliva in the mouth to prevent it getting into the windpipe. It is also important to avoid talking or laughing during meals as this would eventually lead to excessive coughing.
