What Causes Severe Cough While Passing Gas In An Infant?

Question: Hi my 7 week old baby has been coughing on straining for the past 2 days. It usually happens when she is trying to pass wind. Is it normal? She is still feeding as usual and is otherwise settled between feeds unless she has to pass wind.

When should we get worried? Some family members have had a cold over the past week so I am not sure if it is related or not as this only happens when she strains. Thanks

* Increased rate of respiration
* Lethargy
* Not feeding well
