Question : I have a slight cough. When I try to clear my throat, I get some slightly green flem.
This has been going on for a week.

Hello XXXXXXX

From your description I can see that you are taking lisinopril which is a anti hypertensive drug belonging to a class of drugs called ACE Inhibitors. These drugs are known to cause cough and this condition is called ACE Inhibitor induced cough.

I suggest you consult your treating physician regarding change of drugs and the cough will go away.

In the meanwhile you may take a tablet of montair lc daily which may also help in controlling the cough.
