What Causes Severe Cough?

QUESTIONS:
1. I would like to know your opinion on my present health condition.
2. Is it dust allergy or asthma??
3 is this a resistance problem?
Possibility of asthma is more.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of allergy and asthma is more.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system, chest x ray and PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
Chest x ray is needed to rule out other lung conditions.
PFT is must for the diagnosis of asthma.
It will also tell you about severity of the disease.
And treatment of asthma is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Antihistamine and anti allergic drugs are also useful.
With regular follow up and treatment, asthma can be controlled.
So asthma is not resistant disease.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.

1. severity complexity of the issue and your opinion.
2. is it due to decrease of resistance power?
3. is this due to stress work load?
4. request you to suggest supplementation for immunity increase
You are having mild to moderate obstruction.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the images you have attached.
Your PFT report is suggestive of mixed pattern.
But restriction is not actual. It is pdeudo restriction due to air trapping because of obstructive airway defect.
Severity is mild to moderate.
It is not due to low immunity. Possibility of allergy as a cause is more.
Stress may worsen bronchospasm. But it is not a causative factor.
Best treatment of allergy is identification of allergen and if possible complete avoidance of it.
Continue drugs prescribed by doctor.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Medrol is methylprednisolome. And it is given for short time in asthma patients.
So continue this drug along with rotacap and other drug.
It's always encouraging for doctors to hear positive feedback from patients.
So thanks again.
Hope I have solved your query.
