Brief Answer:
Please see a Respiratory physician and an Oncologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,
Who diagnosed a nodule in your lung and by what test - XRay or CT Scan?
Do share the report with us if possible.
I suggest you get your GP to refer you to the Oncologist right away. You might require a Bronchoscopic biopsy by a Respiratory Physician to see what the nodule is. If it is a single small nodule it might be amenable to Surgical removal which is a good possibility. But without a biopsy report and a PET Scan it would be difficult to comment upon as to what should be the management protocol. It could be something else like a post infective nodule. So lets not jump to conclusions or panic for the same.
Let all investigations be done and then we can decide from there the best course of action.
Do not worry.
Take care,
