Question : hi doc my baby 4 months old is crying loud at night n refusing to get feed. as she underwent bcg dose a day before is it common to hv such behaviour or if thr is a stomach infection. let us know what to do.
Brief Answer:
Irritable behaviour is common but not feeding well worries me
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
It is not unusual for a child to suffer from pain or discomfort after an episode of vaccination. It is quite common for the child to be crying aloud and may occasionally suffer from fever too. But since the child is not feeding well, it might be worthwhile to get the child evaluated by your pediatrician.

Brief Answer:
You may wait and watch depending on the severity of the problem
Detailed Answer:
In such a scenario, you may wait and watch but if the child becomes lethargic and does not feed well, you will have to take her to a doctor.
