Question : - I have had bad diarrhea for 4 months it is watery and has progressed to serious stomach cramps incontinence anal pressure all the time and nausea and a little vomiting. I have lost 26 lbs in 45 days and I still have these symptoms if I dont eat because my appetite is gone. I have been tested for labs and all have come back normal but I am getting sicker and weaker plus I have been on my cycle for almost a month. Any advice would help thanks.....desperate

Brief Answer:
Avoid dairy food and non veg food.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

Diarrhoea for months indicates either Malabsorption , Long standing infections or inflammatory bowel disease like Ulcerative colitis or Chron's disease. Among these the possibility of Malabsorption seems high.

Before advising you for the tests that needs to be done I would like to go through the test reports done on you.

Also you need to avoid dairy food and non veg food.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Need to get tested more.

Detailed Answer:
HI

I went through your ultrasound report and it is almost normal. It is just showing some stones but that shall not explain your symptoms.

I need to go through all of your reports so that there is no repeatition of the tests. But if in case you can't upload the test reports , you need to get the following tests done and revert back .

Complete Hemogram, Liver function test, Serum Amylase, Lipase, Colonoscopy, Stool for Ova, cyst, fat globules, Tissue tranglutaminase antibodies, Serum Triglycerides, Serum IgA antibodies, Fecal elastase and chymotrypsin.

Kindly revert back with these test reports.

Regards.
